On December 12th - 14th, Iron Gaming presents one of the first Halo 2: Anniversary tournaments to be sanctioned by the Halo Championship Series. The tournament will take place from December 12th - 14th at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH, with a total prize pool of over $10,000.
Iron Gaming is proud to announce that Iron Games Columbus will be the first LAN Halo Championship Series sanctioned event, where teams will have a chance to compete and earn HSC points towards their seed in the HSC Season 1 Championship. This event will feature some of the largest names in Halo history, from players to coaches to hosts, including names like Walshy, Bravo, and Dmaq.
In addition to the main Halo tournament, Super Smash Bros. Project M and Melee tournaments will run through the weekend. With free-play stations, a VIP lounge, and autograph sessions with your favorite players, the weekend promises to be full of action.

Iron Games is proud to announce that Iron Games Columbus is a Halo Championship Series sanctioned event. Teams that compete at Iron Games Columbus will earn HCS points towards the season ending invitational in March. Iron Games Columbus will feature legendary members of the Halo community, including Walshy, Bravo, Goldenboy, Dmaq, and FrankTheShow, among many others. Being a HCS sanctioned event, the game played will be Halo 2: Anniversary and will feature the official HCS gametypes, which will be announced in the coming weeks. The tournament will feature over $10,000 in cash prizes to the top finishers in Halo 2: Anniversary as well as in multiple Super Smash Brothers titles.
The event will be hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez and Kelly “MrsViolence” Kelley and have casting and analysis by Walshy, Bravo, Frank, Lan Valen, Dmaq, and Turbo.

ANNOUNCEMENTAfter recent announcements from 343 Industries regarding the Halo Championship Series, Iron Gaming is happy to announce that Iron Games Columbus will be an official HCS sanctioned event. In accordance with this, we have decided after much consideration to follow suit and change to Halo 2 Anniversary.
As an officially sanctioned tournament, all participants will receive HCS Points. We believe that this addition will bring many benefits to all competitors who attend Iron Games Columbus.
Iron Games Columbus will have a guaranteed prize pool of at least $10,000, in addition to the HCS Points that will be rewarded to competitors.
We also excited to welcome Andy “Bravo” Dudynsky and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez of 343 Industries and Twitch respectively as hosts and casters of our event. They will be joined by David “Walshy” Walsh, Danish “Dmaq” Maqbool, Kelly “Mrs. Violence” Kelley, Jonathan “LAN Valen” Miller, Frank “FrankTheShow” Bowen, and AJ “Turbo” Dhir. We believe that all of these talented casters and hosts will add significant value and insight to our event.
